FA-40

The FA-40 delivers “Real-Time” AIS information to navigation systems providing critical collision avoidance information in all weather conditions

Acquisition and tracking of traffic around your vessel is absolutely necessary for safe and efficient navigation. FURUNO’s FA-40 AIS Receiver provides navigational data about other AIS-equipped vessels, increasing your situational awareness and allowing you to navigate more safely.

Features:

  • Enhances safe navigation by exchanging critical navigation information from AIS-equipped vessels nearby
  • Greatly improves the level of the situational awareness even in fog, darkness or congested waterways
  • Flexible integration with various AIS compatible radar and chart plotters
  • Optional GPS antenna can be connected to receive GPS information

  • Vastly improves situational awareness in any weather conditions including dense fog, darkness, and congested waterways
  • Dual parallel channel, “Full Duplex” receiver design receives AIS contact messages up to 100% more often than dual channel “Multiplexing” receivers

FA-70

The FA-70 offers accurate information exchange that can be utilized for collision avoidance

FURUNO’s FA-70 class-B AIS transponder receives navigation data from AIS-equipped vessels nearby that can be utilized to aid in safe navigation. Also, the FA-70 transmits own ship’s information to the vessels around, which also aids in collision avoidance.

  • Enhances safe navigation by exchanging critical navigation information from AIS-equipped vessels nearby
  • Greatly improves the level of the situational awareness even in fog, darkness or congested waterways

The FA-170 presents data for collision avoidance with its easyto-use interface.
